Academics Beyond Boundaries aspires to be a model of excellence in Shaping and Sharing creative Ideas to Enhance Knowledge Dissemination.

We support creative thinkers who want to make a lasting change by addressing causes of emerging challenges.

About the Book Series

Academics Perspectives on Business and Economics provides another publication alternative for authors who wish to have their articles published as Book Chapters. Publishing articles as book chapters helps in the dissemination of knowledge to a wider audience that might not be reachable through publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals. Books target audience expands to include academics, professionals, students, and the general public worldwide, while journals are targeting academics only.

Papers can be submitted to our book series directly by authors who wish to publish their articles as book chapters. Articles submitted to our book series will go through a double-blind peer review process similar to journal articles. A wide range of management, business, and economics topics are welcomed, aand we encourage papers with local, national, regional and international implications. Papers are not limited to any research method or methodology, and qualitative, quantitative, theoretical, or empirical research articles are welcomed. We accept papers written in English only.

Article Proccessing Charge

All accepted papers will require an article processing charge of $500 payable after acceptance to cover editorial and proccessing cost. However, research papers that are presented at Academics Beyond Boundaries Conferences can be submitted to our Book Series (to be published as a book chapter) after going through the peer review process without any cost. Each book chapter will have its own Digital Object Identifier (DOI). A DOI will help readers easily locate the article from its citation, and it will always refer to that article, and that article only. Authors will be able to download, use, or post their book chapter on any repository as they wish. Also, individual chapters of the edited book will be available to the general public to download and use. Hard copies of the book will be available for sale by major book retailors worldwide.

Benefits of Publishing Research in Edited Volumes as Book Chapters:

  • Books are considered by many in the academic community as the gold standard of academic publication.

  • Edited volumes might be used as instructional resources in courses (textbooks), which would influence a new generation of scholars.

  • An edited book has a mixture of perspectives on a problem or phenomenon, producing a collection of significant value for readers, and especially for students and practitioners.

  • A book chapter helps authors in bringing together creative original ideas and theories than a journal article does.

Guidelines for Authors

All submitted papers will be reviewed by our editorial team, and will go through a double-blind peer review process. Academics Perspectives on Business and Economics adopts a Zero Tolerance policy on Plagiarism. All papers submitted for publication are checked using plagiarism software as the first step of the review process. All submitted articles must be original research, not under review by other journals or book series, or published previously. Papers should be between 4000 - 8000 words (more than 8000 words can be considered on a case by case basis). Submitted papers should be formatted based on APA style.
